Beer Frisbee - Playing with 2 frisbees

Postby Jeremy on Wed Nov 12, 2008 11:16 am

Most Beer Frisbee or Beersbie is played with only one frisbee, but I found one site where a rule is mentioned that uses 2 frisbees, instead of one.

Step1
Start the game with one team member at a time throwing a disc until the first point is scored. The order of turn moves diagonally from team member to team member. It is considered goal tending if a player catches the disc before it passes the pole, and subsequently 1 point is automatically scored for the throwing team.
Step2
Bring in the second flying disc once the first point is scored. Now one member of each team will throw simultaneously at the opposing team's pole, with all of the previous rules still in effect.
Step3
Score 5 points to win; however you must win by at least 2 points. And like most drinking games, the losing team must then pound a full beer.

Seems to me like 2 discs would be too much going on... but fun if you don't have many other people or distractions around.

Thoughts?

I'm new to this rule. I've never played 2 frisbees at the same time. Isn't this going to be confusing?

i've played this game quite a bit lately, both with one frisbee and two.

we've actually had MORE fun when we played with 2. Each player gets a chance to throw each round, so you don't have to keep track of who threw last, or whose turn it is. It also speeds the game up a little, with additional chances to score!
